Why do the children's profiles sound similar?  Due to the large numbers of wishes we have to process very quickly, we have each child check boxes on their wish card to indicate their favorite food, animal, past-time, etc.  The information is entered in a consistent format for each child's profile.   Rest-assured it is all real information from each child!

How did the younger children write a paragraph about their favorite things?  In order to process all of the gift cards we receive, the cards have check boxes for the children's favorite activity, food, animal, and thing about the holidays.  We then construct a paragraph out of their marked preferences.  For younger children, a parent or teacher goes through the choices with them, but the preferences are still their own.

How do I choose a child?  Just click on the "Sponsor" icon at the top of this page, and you will be able to browse through the children’s profiles and see their holiday gift wishes. Once you have found a child, just click "Sponsor this Child!" to place their gift in your wish cart and complete the checkout process using a major credit card.

How does the site work?  It's simple! When you find a child to sponsor, just click on the button that reads "Sponsor this Child!", and their wish gift will be placed into your wish cart. Once you have finished adding gifts to your cart, just click the “Checkout” button and complete the process using any major credit card. You will receive a confirmation email that can be printed out and used as a receipt for your income tax deductions. MyTwoFrontTeeth.org centralizes the purchasing and wrapping, and we ensure that each child receives their gift in time for the holidays.

How long does it take to sponsor a child?  We are confident that anyone can complete the sponsorship process in under five minutes. Please let us know if there is any way we can improve our service to make it even more speedy!

How much does it cost to sponsor a child?  The toys vary in price from $20 - $30. Because we purchase the gifts in bulk and handle the delivery through our community organizations, there is no charge for shipping & handling.

How do I pay for the wish?  Simply complete the checkout process using any major credit card.

Is my credit card information safe on this site?  Absolutely. All transactions are handled through our secure payment service, which is provided through CyberSource. Cybersource is one of the most trusted names in internet merchants. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and is among the best software available today for secure online commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.

How many toys can I buy?  You can purchase just one toy per child, but feel free to sponsor as many children as you’d like!

Where do I send the gift?  There is no need to enter a shipping address during the checkout process. MyTwoFrontTeeth.org takes care of all of the necessary handling and our community organization partners ensure the toys are delivered directly to the children.

Can I sponsor a child as a gift to someone else?  Yes!  Simply check the “sponsor as a gift” box on the Checkout page.  Enter the name and email address of the person to receive the gift.  They'll receive a message from you and a link to the profile of the child you sponsored on their behalf.

What happens if a child doesn’t get sponsored?  Over the past seven years, thanks to the help of generous sponsors like yourself, no child has ever not been sponsored! However, in the unfortunate event that not enough sponsors are found, money from the MyTwoFrontTeeth.org Fund is used purchase the gifts for any children that are not sponsored in time.

Why is my credit card billed through Family Giving Tree?  Processing sponsorships through our partner, Family Giving Tree, enables MyTwoFrontTeeth.org to provide a tax deductible receipt (see below).  For more information on Family Giving Tree, please visit our Partners page.

Can I claim my gift as a tax deduction?  Yes! Your confirmation email doubles as a printable receipt for income tax deduction purposes. In order to provide this benefit, we process all sponsorships through our partner, The Family Giving Tree. Family Giving Tree provides fiscal sponsorship to MyTwoFrontTeeth.org and is a licensed 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

How do I participate in my company’s corporate matching program?  If your company has a corporate matching program and you would like them to match your donation to MyTwoFrontTeeth.org, fill out a matching form and choose Family Giving Tree (our parent organization) from the list of eligible nonprofits.  Specify on the form that the donation should go to MyTwoFrontTeeth.org.  For more information on our partnership with Family Giving Tree, see above.

Who delivers the toys?  After wrapping the gifts, MyTwoFrontTeeth.org delivers them to our community organization partners.  These organizations then ensure each child receives his or her wish in time for the holidays.

When will the child receive the toy?  All toys will be delivered to the children no later than December 24th.

Will the child know who sponsored them?  No. For privacy reasons, we do not include any information about the donor with the gift. 

Can I include a personal message?  Unfortunately, we cannot include a personal message with the gift.

Does MyTwoFrontTeeth.org profit from my purchase?  No.  MyTwoFrontTeeth.org is a self-sustaining nonprofit organization but does not use its proceeds in a for-profit fashion.  Your donation covers not only the cost of the gift but also the shipping, wrapping, and final delivery.  A percentage of each sponsorship is placed into the MyTwoFrontTeeth.org Fund and we use these proceeds first to subsidize gifts for children who did not get sponsored.  At the end of each holiday season, ten percent of the year's proceeds are distributed to our partner community organizations in the form of cash donations, and the rest of the Fund is used to help grow our operations year over year.
